ZimLoop Child Safety Standards
Last Updated: August 6, 2026
ZimLoop is a community social network dedicated to helping local neighborhoods connect, share alerts, and coordinate events safely. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding any content or behavior that threatens the safety, well-being, or dignity of children.
Zero-Tolerance Policy: ZimLoop strictly prohibits the creation, sharing, promotion, or facilitation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on our platform.
1. Prohibited CSAE Conduct and Content
Specifically, the following are strictly prohibited on ZimLoop:
- Visual depictions of children involved in sexually explicit conduct (CSAM).
- Content that promotes, normalizes, or facilitates child sexual abuse or grooming.
- Child sexual extortion (sextortion) or solicitations targeting minors.
- Any attempt to contact minors for inappropriate, harmful, or exploitative purposes.
2. In-App Reporting Mechanisms
ZimLoop provides robust, immediate tools for users to flag safety concerns:
- Report Content: Every post in the feed contains a swipe option to "Report". Users can immediately select this to flag content for moderation.
- Block Users: Users can request immediate support to block offenders and prevent contact.
Our moderation team reviews all flagged content 24/7. Prohibited material is removed immediately, and offending user accounts are permanently terminated.
3. External Reporting and Legal Compliance
ZimLoop complies with regional and international child protection laws. Upon identifying CSAM or CSAE, we take the following actions:
- NCMEC Reporting: We report all instances of CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or relevant local/national law enforcement agencies.
- Preservation of Evidence: We preserve relevant logs and account details to assist authorities in investigations.
